Corruption Case In Energy Sector: Energoatom's Supervisory Board Convenes Special Meeting
According to the statement, the Supervisory Board treats with utmost seriousness the recent corruption allegations linked to employees of NNEGC Energoatom.
The Board will convene a special meeting to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the situation and determine appropriate actions. This will include initiating an independent review of the relevant operations, as well as a thorough evaluation of the company's internal procedures and control systems.
“The Supervisory Board is committed to ensuring full transparency, accountability, the highest standards of integrity within the organisation and cooperation with authorities,” the statement reads.

The primary activity of the criminal organization involved the systematic receipt of undue benefits from Energoatom's contractors, amounting to between 10% and 15% of contract values.
NNEGC Energoatom reported that searches were conducted by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, and assured that the company is cooperating with the investigation.
An informed law enforcement source told Ukrinform that on the morning of 10 November, NABU carried out searches at the residence of businessman and co-owner of Kvartal 95 Studio, Tymur Mindich, as well as at the residence of Minister of Justice German Galushchenko, who previously served as Minister of Energy.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky commented on NABU's exposure of the large-scale corruption scheme in the energy sector, stating that everyone who built such schemes must receive a clear procedural response.
He emphasized that NNEGC Energoatom currently supplies Ukraine with the largest share of power generation and that“integrity within the company is a priority” in both the energy sector and across all other industries.
