WADA To Review Mudryk Case After Receiving Verdict From English FA

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) WADA President Witold Bańka said this in an interview with Ukrinfor, noting that he does not know when the FA's disciplinary decision regarding the Ukrainian player will be delivered.

“First and foremost, we are waiting for the disciplinary decision in his case (from the English Football Association – ed.). As of today, we do not know when it will be issued. Then, in accordance with the anti-doping code, we will request the player's documentation and decide whether we agree with that decision. We may file an appeal in two cases: if we consider the decision too harsh or too lenient,” the WADA head stated.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Ukrainian national team and Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk had confirmed his positive doping test.
