CAIRO, Nov 10 (KUNA) -- Having high hopes for better economic and social conditions, Egypt's eligible voters are flowing en masse to polling stations in 14 governorates in the first phase of parliamentary elections.
The vote is the scene of remarkable participation on the part of young people and women amid wide-scale coverage of local and foreign mass media and the watchdogging of many regional and international organizations.
As many as 35 million Egyptians are eligible to cast their ballots in this phase of the two-round parliamentary election race. (end)
