Jordan, UAE Discuss Parliamentary Cooperation

Amman, Nov. 10 (Petra) – Lower House Speaker Mazen Qadi Monday welcomed Chargé d'Affaires of the United Arab Emirates Embassy in Amman, Counselor Hamad Abdulla Al-Matrooshi, to discuss prospects of joint cooperation, particularly in the parliamentary field.
Qadi stressed the deep-rooted Jordanian-UAE ties under the two country's leadership, stressing the need to enhance joint parliamentary coordination. He thanked the UAE Federal National Council's Speaker, underlining a commitment to coordinating positions to serve the interests of the two countries and Arab causes.
For his part, Al-Matrooshi stressed the deep and historic relations, expressing his country's keenness on developing them across various fields to achieve mutual interests.
