Israeli Occupation Hands Over Bodies Of 15 Palestinians Through ICRC
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA))
GAZA, Nov 10 (KUNA) -- Health authorities in Gaza announced Monday that they received the bodies of 15 Palestinians held by the Israeli occupation through the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
In a press statement, the ministry said the ICRC delivered the bodies to Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip, the exchange came as part of the ceasefire agreement.
This raises the total number of bodies returned by Israeli occupation since the ceasefire took effect on October 10 to 415 bodies.
The health authorities noted that most of the bodies are being buried in a central Gaza cemetery, as their identities could not be determined due to decomposition, while Israeli occupation continues to withhold the names of the deceased despite repeated appeals from international organizations.
