"The situation is quite complicated, as the enemy is increasing the number of assaults and shelling attacks every day, striking with kamikaze drones, actively using aircraft to drop guided aerial bombs, and targeting populated areas located near the front line," Voloshyn said.
According to him, nearly 50 assaults and combat engagements were recorded on the southern axis over the past day. In addition to assaults on Ukrainian positions, there were also firefights during which Ukrainian Defense Forces units and assault groups conducting search-and-strike operations eliminated Russian invaders attempting to infiltrate deeper into Ukrainian defenses.

Voloshyn stressed that over the past day, there were 13 combat clashes in the Huliaipole sector. In the Oleksandrohrad sector, the enemy attempted to attack Ukrainian positions near Orestopil using pickup trucks, three of which were destroyed. Another engagement took place near Oleksandrohrad in a forest belt, where Russian troops, using light vehicles, tried to approach Ukrainian positions.
The enemy also used motorcycles in the Orikhiv sector near Novoandriivka, where five motorcycles attempting a so-called "biker assault" were destroyed.
"Right now, the weather in the south is very foggy. The area has small rivers with large floodplains and meadows. The enemy is trying to use reed thickets to infiltrate and bypass our positions, so fighting continues there. Our troops destroyed several such enemy groups there," Voloshyn said.
