Hawalli Governorate Launches Security Campaign To Raise Awareness

KUWAIT, Nov 10 (KUNA) -- Hawalli Governorate on Monday launched an awareness campaign at Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Centre under patronage and attendance of Acting Hawalli Governor and Governor of Mubarak Al-Kabeer Sheikh Sabah Bader Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah.
In his opening speech, he said the campaign, branded "Hawalli is Safe", represents a pioneering step to enhance community security and raise awareness on crime prevention and highlighting the importance of compliance with modern laws in an era of evolving threats including cybercrime.
He added the initiative seeks to instill a proactive approach prioritizing awareness over punishment, noting panel discussions addressed traffic safety and consequences, key legal basics, and challenges of electronic offences and cyber security across households. (end)
