(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Nov 2 (KUNA) - His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received Sunday Chinese Deputy President Han Zheng and his accompanying delegation, on the occasion of his official visit to the country.
The deep-rooted historical relations between the State of Kuwait and the friendly People's Republic of China were touched on, as well as the latest regional and global developments.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs, Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Minister of Public Works and Head of the accompanying delegation of honor, Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, Director of the Office of His Highness the Amir, Retired Lieutenant General Jamal Al-Dhiyab, Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs at the Amiri Diwan, Mazen Al-Issa, and the Ambassador of Kuwait to China, Jassim Al-Najem.
