Sri Lankan Prime Minister Visits American India Foundation's Advanced ICT Lab In Delhi

22nd October 2025, New Delhi: Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, during her official visit to India, visited the Advanced ICT Lab at Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, Sector 8, Rohini, developed under the Digital Equalizer initiative of the American India Foundation (AIF). The visit was also graced by Minister of Education, Sh. Ashish Sood, and other dignitaries from the education and technology sectors.
The visit aimed to understand the implementation of digital infrastructure in Indian schools, focusing on how modern ICT facilities are revolutionizing classroom learning. The Advanced ICT Labs, designed by the Ladli Foundation, stand as a testament to the power of innovation in education. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, digital learning systems, and smart classrooms, these labs are empowering over 1 lakh students across Delhi to develop future-ready skills and bridge the digital divide.
