Panama Reports Blackout Complaints Are Increasing In Veraguas -

(MENAFN- Newsroom Panama) The National Public Services Authority (ASEP) in Veraguas announced the extension of its business hours in response to the increase in reports of voltage fluctuations and electrical damage in various sectors of the province. According to Denia Santos, regional head of ASEP in Santiago, there has been a sustained increase in complaints related to power outages, which prompted the decision to strengthen customer service, including on weekends. “This measure aims to ensure that no one is left without the opportunity to file a complaint or receive guidance.

We've managed to attract up to 14% more users thanks to this expansion,” Santos emphasized. The official explained that most of the complaints come from users who have suffered damage to their electrical appliances as a result of constant voltage fluctuations. This situation has generated unrest in both urban and rural communities. ASEP announced that it will intensify its monitoring of the electricity service, with the goal of ensuring continuous, high-quality service. It also urged citizens to continue reporting any irregularities, either in person or through official digital channels. “Users should not remain silent. Every complaint counts and helps us demand better service for everyone ,” the regional chief concluded.
