(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar Media Corporation, represented by Qatar Television, won two prestigious Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) awards for the exchange of TV content and programmes. This came during the 23rd meeting of ASBU's Standing TV programmes committee, which began in Tunisia Tuesday and will end Thursday.

Qatar TV secured 3rd place in the comprehensive TV content exchange award category and won 2nd place in the TV programme exchange award category, in recognition of programme quality and active participation in the media content exchange framework.
