Kuwaiti Competitor Comed 2Nd In Third Round Of Motosurf World Championship


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Oct 5 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti competitor Fares Ramadan from the Kuwait Marine Sports Club won second place in the Rookie Stock category during the third round of the MotoSurf World Championship, held in Manfredonia, Italy, which concluded on Sunday.
The Head of the Water Bike Committee at the Kuwait Sea Sports Club, Ibrahim Ramadan, told KUNA that the championship, which began on October 3, witnessed the participation of several outstanding athletes from 96 countries.
He added that after this round, competitor Fares Ramadan is looking forward to the upcoming championship to deliver his best possible performance and achieve an advanced position in the fourth round, scheduled to be held in Zadar, Croatia, on October 10.
He noted that the championship consists of six rounds and is organized by the Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM). The fifth round will take place in Shenzhen, China, next November, while the sixth and final round will also be held in Macau, China, in November. (end)
