Qatar Strongly Condemns Storming Of Al Aqsa Mosque Complex By Israeli Minister, Settlers
Doha: The State of Qatar strongly condemned the storming of the Al Aqsa Mosque courtyards by dozens of Israeli settlers, led by the Minister of National Security in the occupation government.
Qatar considered this act a blatant violation of international law and a provocation to the sentiments of Muslims worldwide.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned against the continued violations against the Palestinian people and their Islamic and Christian holy sites, stressing that such actions will only escalate violence in the region.
The Ministry also underscored the responsibility of the international community to uphold its moral and legal obligations regarding Jerusalem and its sacred sites.
The Ministry has reiterated Qatar's firm position in support of the just cause of the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights, including the full right to freely practice their religious rituals and to establish an independent state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
