Communities, Police Nationwide Gather For National Night Out On August 5Th To Promote Neighborhood Unity And Safety

WYNNEWOOD, Pa., July 30, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Association of Town Watch (NATW) invites citizens and law enforcement agencies across the country for National Night Out (NNO) on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, an annual community-building event that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.

Held year each year on the first Tuesday in August, National Night Out brings together residents, first responders and local organizations for an evening of fun, food, fellowship and festivities – all in the name of public safety and community engagement.

NATW has partnered with ADT, Starbucks, Nintendo, AT&T, 7-Eleven Cares Foundation supported by 7-Eleven, Inc., Dollar Tree, Associa, L.E.A.D., and Nextbase for this year's 42^nd Annual National Night Out.

This year's event will again feature:

• Meet-and-greets with police, fire, EMS and local leaders
• Food and refreshments
• Games and activities for children
• Safety demonstrations
• Community resource booths
• Music and other entertainment

"National Night Out turns the clock back to the 1940's and 50's to a time when neighbors knew neighbors, routinely looked out for one another and everyone knew the cop on the beat," said Matt Peskin, creator of NNO.
