Al Jazeera Media Institute Launches Field Media Diploma

DOHA: Al Jazeera Media Institute is launching a“Field Media Diploma” at its headquarters in Doha during the period from September 13 to October 16, 2025, as part of its efforts to develop media cadres and to qualify them according to the latest media standards.

The diploma is going to be held in the evening period and compose of 150 training hours over five weeks to focus on practical exercises and direct interaction.

The Institute believes that modern media fieldwork requires a journalist to combine the ability of a transferring reality accurately and objectively in addition to presenting it in innovative creative ways, which makes familiarity with television production styles and understanding professional differences between different forms a basic skill for every journalist.

The diploma targets journalists, media professionals and media students, in addition to every one having previous experience in journalism or documentary film production, with preference for holders of relevant university qualifications.
