Bridge2trades Enters Second Year, Expanding Career Pathways For Youth In The Construction Industry

(MENAFN- ACCESSWIRE) BOSTON, MA / ACCESS Newswire / July 10, 2025 / Bridge2Trades (B2T) is the groundbreaking workforce development initiative co-founded by former New England Patriots captain Deatrich Wise Jr. Today, Taisha Crayton, B2T Director, announced in partnership with NEI General Contracting , the launch of its second year of programming. Building on the success of its inaugural cohort, B2T continues to provide hands-on training, industry exposure, and career-building opportunities for young people interested in high-demand construction trades.

Held at the WORC2 Center in Boston, the 2025 program kicked off on July 7 ^th, with a new class of students eager to explore careers in electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, and more. Over six weeks, students will receive essential safety certifications including OSHA 10 , First Aid , CPR , and Narcan administration . Participants will also gain exposure to modern construction technologies such as drone operation, Building Information Modeling (BIM), plan reading, and project management fundamentals.
