UAE Rescues 22 Crew Members After Houthis Attack Ship In Red Sea
The UAE on July 7 rescued 22 people from the British-flagged vessel Magic Seas after it was attacked by Houthi rebels in the Red Sea, forcing the crew to abandon ship amid rough sea conditions.
The UAE's Safa Breeze, operated by Abu Dhabi Ports Group, responded quickly to the ship's distress call and managed to reach the scene in time.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Mofa) confirmed that the rescue was carried out in full coordination with the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) and other international maritime organisations.
The Ministry also noted that all safety procedures were carefully followed during the operation.
The rescue came in the wake of an attack claimed by Yemen's Houthi rebels, who said they had targeted the Magic Seas using drones, ballistic and cruise missiles, and unmanned boats.
