Cop Injured In Accidental Firing In South Kashmir's Anantnag


(MENAFN- Kashmir Observer) Srinagar- A police personnel was injured on Friday in an accidental fire from his service rifle while on Amarnath yatra duty in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district, officials said.

Service rifle of Selection Grade Constable Shabir Ahmad, presently deployed for yatra duty, went off accidently at Pahalgam in the south Kashmir district, they said.

Ahmad was shifted to Pahalgam hospital.
