OIC Condemns Israeli Officials' Remarks On West Bank Sovereignty

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) JEDDAH, July 3 (KUNA) -- The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned on Thursday the racist statements by officials in the Israeli occupation government calling for annexation and the imposition of so-called Israeli sovereignty over the occupied West Bank.
In a statement, OIC described these remarks as a blatant violation of international law and UN resolutions, aimed at undermining efforts toward a two-state solution, warning of the danger posed by continued incitement by Israeli leaders and settlers.
OIC renewed its call for international recognition of the State of Palestine, full UN membership, and urgent action to end the occupation and illegal settlements in accordance with UN resolutions. (end)
