Injury Toll In Odesa Drone Strike Rises To Six
“As a result of enemy strikes, six people were injured, and 11 were rescued. We wish each and every one of them a speedy recovery,” the report said.
Emergency crews have completed operations at the site and worked to safely dismantle dangerous debris from the partially destroyed residential building using seismographic equipment.
According to Maryna Averina, spokeswoman for the State Emergency Service in the Odesa region, a large-scale fire erupted in the residential high-rise building, affecting apartments from the 7th to 9th floors.
“The worst thing is that people were trapped inside their apartments. There was rubble blocking the stairways, making it impossible for them to escape. We had to use special equipment to rescue them,” she told reporters.
