Kuwait Ministry: 150 Realty Transactions Worth USD 498 Mln Within Week

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, July 2 (KUNA) -- Some 150 real estates' transactions took place this week worth KD 151 million (USD 498 million), said the Ministry of Justice on Wednesday.
According to statistics published on the ministry's website, some 95 private real estates' transactions worth KD 39 million (around 128.7 million) occurred between June 22nd and the 30th.
Investment real estates' came second with 48 worth KD 54 million (around USD 178 million), while commercial real estate deals saw transactions worth KD 52 million (approximately USD 171.6 million), added the ministry.
It went on to say that crafting sector real estate amounted to around KD two million (USD 6.6 million), while deals on real estate on the coastal line reached only KD four million (around KD 13.2 million).
Geographically, 22 for private real estates, 11 investments, and two commercial properties transactions were registered in the capital district, the statement revealed, adding that 19 private real estates, 12 investment, and two commercial properties exchanged hands in Hawally governorate.
In Farwaniya district, 12 private real estate and seven investment properties were recorded.
In Mubarak Al-Kabeer governorate, nine private real estate contracts were signed, while 20 private real estate deals were struck in Al-Ahmadi governorate.
The statement indicated that the Jahra governorate saw 13 private real estate deals struck with one sole investment property registered. (end)
