Municipalities Intensify Pest Control Campaigns To Promote Public Health

Doha: As part of the commitment to enhance public health, various municipalities in Qatar are continuing intensive campaigns to combat the spread of insects.

The Ministry of Municipality (MoI) released a reminder to the public that the campaign will continue to last throughout a total number of 2026 municipalities in Qatar.

These efforts aim to ensure a safe and clean environment that supports improved quality of life for residents.

The campaign will include spraying operations of various kinds of pest control, an on-going awareness campaigns against harmful behaviors that lead to the spread of insects, and also to introduce the services available to properly combat them through the mobile application 'Oun'

Citizens and residents in Qatar are urged to seek out pest control services via the mobile application Oun, an innovative solution streamlining the efforts of the state in pest control.

The application witnesses orders through the app itself, the phone line within, and the website, recording a totality of 2026 submitted orders.

The initiative aligns with the goal of Qatar National Vision 2030, which emphasizes sustainable development and the well-being of the population.

Authorities urge the public to cooperate with field teams and maintain hygiene in and around their homes to support the effectiveness of the campaigns.
