Doha, Qatar: Organised by the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States (ABEGS), a training course on the use of artificial intelligence in public education kicked off yesterday at the headquarters of the Arab Center for Educational Training for the Gulf States in Doha.

With the participation of supervisors from the Ministries of Education in the member states of the Bureau, the course will continue until Thursday, June 26, 2025.

This course is part of efforts to implement the objectives of the Gulf Observatory for Artificial Intelligence in education. The goal is to develop participants' capabilities in the field of artificial intelligence and enhance their competencies in keeping pace with rapid developments in this field.

This will contribute to transferring acquired knowledge and skills to their colleagues in ministries and support the technical infrastructure of education in the GCC countries.

The programme includes several interactive training sessions focusing on enabling participants to employ acquired artificial intelligence skills in their practical environments, which will positively impact the quality of the educational process.
