In the first few seconds of the video, two pedestrians are seen jaywalking across a four-lane highway in Abu Dhabi, narrowly avoiding getting hit by a white car driving on the left lane.

The second clip shows another traffic violation - pedestrians crossing at a designated pedestrian lane while the stop sign is still active.

Brigadier General Mahmoud Yousef Al Baloushi, Director of the Directorate of Traffic and Security Patrols, highlighted that adherence to traffic laws is a shared responsibility that protects lives and strengthens community safety.

Drivers are also urged to give priority to pedestrians and stay alert, especially near schools and residential areas, noting that respecting pedestrian rights reflects the driver's awareness and civilised conduct.
