Mahindra Logistics Launches New Warehousing Facility In Maharashtra To Support Cummins India

(MENAFN- KNN India) Phaltan, Jun 12 (KNN) Mahindra Logistics Ltd., a leading integrated logistics solutions provider, has launched a new warehousing facility in Phaltan, Maharashtra.

This modern logistics hub spans over 3 lakh sq. ft. and is designed as a dedicated centre for Cummins India, a prominent power solutions provider.

The facility aims to optimise Cummins India's nationwide operations by consolidating products from various sources into a single, central location.

This consolidation is expected to streamline the supply chain and enhance operational efficiency. It will also support agile manufacturing operations, enabling a faster and more responsive production cycle.

Hemant Sikka, Managing Director and CEO of Mahindra Logistics, highlighted the strategic importance of the new facility.

He stated,“India's emergence as the world's fourth largest economy reflects the power of industrial innovation, agile supply chains, and future-ready infrastructure. Logistics is evolving and becoming smarter to meet the demands of a dynamic economy.”

The facility offers end-to-end solutions, including site identification, greenfield development, and integration of manufacturing and distribution activities.

It also embodies a strong commitment to sustainability, featuring renewable energy usage through solar panels and advanced water treatment systems.

Additionally, the warehouse is set to boost local employment by generating over 500 job opportunities, making it not only a business development but also a community enabler.

This initiative marks a significant step towards building future-ready logistics infrastructure in India, strengthening both the supply chain network and sustainable development in the region.
