"Reaching 1,000 members is a proud milestone, but what truly matters is what it represents-decades of relevant programming, powerful advocacy, dedicated volunteers, and meaningful connection," said Rick Weldon, President & CEO of the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce. "While we celebrate our 1,000th member, it's really a tribute to the 999 who came before and helped build the strong, engaged community we have today."

"The Chamber's growing members reflects how Frederick businesses value the advocacy, educational programing, affinity oriented work groups, and networking opportunities provided by the Chamber Staff," says Steve Heine, Chamber Board Chair and CEO of Woodsboro Bank.

The Chamber will celebrate their 1,000 member milestone at their annual Member Picnic on Tuesday, July 29 at Harry Grove Stadium. The event will bring members together to mark the occasion, connect with fellow professionals, and reflect on the impact of the Chamber's work in Frederick County.

The Chamber's work continues beyond the milestone guided by its core values: Leadership, Opportunity, Collaboration, Community, and Education. The Chamber continues to serve as a catalyst for moving business forward and community development.
