Kuwait Participates In United Nations Ocean Conference

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) PARIS, June 11 (KUNA) -- Kuwait participated Wednesday in the Third United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC3), hosted by France in partnership with Costa Rica.
The Kuwaiti delegation was headed by the Kuwaiti Ambassador to France, Abdullah Al-Shaheen.
The conference, which was held in the French capital Paris, will continue until Friday, June 13.
The high-level conference aims to enhance the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 14 on conserving and sustainably using the oceans, seas and marine resources.
High-level representatives from various countries are participating to discuss ways to protect the marine environment. (end)
