MECC Conducts Inspection Tours During Eid Al-Adha Holiday
Doha, Qatar: As part of its commitment to preserving the marine environment and sustaining its resources, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, represented by the Marine Protection Department, carried out several field inspection tours during Eid Al-Adha holiday.
These tours covered the northern, southern, and western areas of the state's territorial waters.
These tours aim to monitor marine activities, identify any violations, and ensure compliance with approved environmental regulations and controls. This reinforces efforts to protect the country's marine ecosystems and biodiversity.
The Ministry urges all sea-goers to adhere to environmental guidelines and instructions, and to refrain from dumping waste or using illegal fishing gear. This is crucial for preserving the marine environment and the safety of its living creatures, ensuring a clean and sustainable marine environment.
