Doha, Qatar: The Eid holidays are over, but families in Qatar continue to come together and make happy memories at the ongoing LEGO Shows at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC). Running until June 22, the event offers more than just fun for LEGO fans of all ages; it has become a place where families bond, laugh, and build unforgettable moments.

Presented by Visit Qatar, the event spans a massive 10,000 square metres across Halls 8 and 9 of QNCC, offering a fun-filled experience for the whole family. Toddlers can stack their first bricks in the DUPLO zone, while older children and parents get creative together in hands-on building areas.

With millions of LEGO bricks, themed play zones, and impressive sculptures, the event continues to attract families looking for ways to enjoy a day out together. Open daily from 1 pm to 11 pm, the second edition of LEGO Shows Qatar gives parents plenty of time to bring their children and explore everything the experience has to offer.

Yasser Puthussery, a long-time Qatar resident, was glad to have a memorable day out with his family. He shared how much joy he felt watching his children, Minha and Mihlal, fully engaged throughout the visit.

“It's the first time I've seen them enjoy an event from start to finish together. They were jumping from one zone to another, building, laughing, and simply enjoying the moment. It's been a great way for us to bond outside of the usual routine,” he told The Peninsula.

From photo spots with giant LEGO models to friendly building contests and interactive games, every corner of the exhibition area is designed to encourage creativity and connection. Many families were seen taking pictures and cheering each other on.

In addition to hands-on building zones and the Master Builder area, families can enjoy themed areas like LEGO City, Friends, Minecraft, and NINJAGO, each packed with creative activities and brick-built displays. Daily live shows bring extra excitement, while a cinema zone screens popular LEGO movies throughout the day.

A top favourite among younger visitors is the giant LEGO-themed inflatable playground. Kids can't seem to get enough of the space, spending hours jumping, rolling, and climbing through colourful obstacle courses. A towering inflatable slide adds even more excitement, drawing cheers and repeat visits from children patiently but eagerly queueing for their turn to slide again. On the sidelines, parents and guardians can be seen clicking photos and capturing joyful moments.

Elsewhere in the exhibition, families can explore themed zones featuring Star Wars, Disney, Marvel, and the Ridgeway Test Track. The Arcade zone offers fun for all ages, where they can play official LEGO console games. Visitors can also enjoy the Shows Golf, the Minifigure Creation Station where they can design a custom LEGO figure, dine at the Food Arena featuring a variety of local and international dishes, and shop at the LEGO store.

Tickets start at QR125, with special rates available for families and VIP packages. Children under two enter for free. QNCC is easily accessible via Doha Metro and Lusail Tram, with free parking available on-site and valet parking offered for added convenience.
