Woman, Her 8-Year-Old Daughter, And Man Killed In Honour-Related Shooting In Upper Dir

(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) A woman, her eight-year-old daughter, and an unidentified man were shot dead in a suspected honour-related incident in Yabarkajon, a locality in Upper Dir district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, police confirmed on Sunday.

According to officials, the attack was allegedly carried out by the woman's husband, who opened fire on her over the suspicion of dishonour.

The woman and an unidentified man died on the spot, while the couple's eight-year-old daughter was also fatally struck by a bullet during the incident.

Police have shifted the bodies to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities and have launched an investigation. However, no information has yet been released regarding the assailant's arrest or whereabouts.
