Trump's Envoy: We Won't Allow Iran To Enrich Uranium, Not Even 1%

U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff has reaffirmed the Trump administration's firm stance against uranium enrichment in any potential deal with Iran, labeling it a“red line” due to its potential for weaponization. In a recent interview, Witkoff emphasized that the U.S. would not permit even 1% enrichment, viewing it as a step toward nuclear armament.

In response, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi asserted that uranium enrichment is an inalienable right of the Iranian people.
