Doha: Qatar's rising gymnastics star Rakan Al-Hareth has secured a place in the finals at the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Koper, Slovenia - a milestone achievement for both the athlete and the Qatar Gymnastics Federation.
The event, part of the 2025 FIG World Challenge Cup series, is taking place at the Bonifika Arena from May 15 to 18, marking its 19th edition. Al-Hareth impressed during the qualification rounds with a composed and technically sharp routine on the pommel horse, earning praise amid a highly competitive international field.
As one of the key stops on the FIG calendar, the Koper event features elite gymnasts from across the globe competing across all apparatus in pursuit of final berths and ranking points.
