Point Coming In Russia's War Against Ukraine Where Decisions“Are Going To Have To Be Made” - Trump

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) U.S. President Donald Trump believes the situation surrounding the war in Ukraine is approaching a critical point where appropriate decisions will have to be made.

The president stated this on Wednesday, responding to a journalists' request to comment on the comments by Vice President J.D. Vance that Russia is demanding too much to end the war, an Ukrinform staff correspondent reports.

"Well, it's possible that he's right. He may know some things..." Trump said. "We are getting to a point where some decisions are going to have to be made. I'm not happy about it. I'm not happy about it."

Trump also traditionally criticized the administration of his predecessor Joe Biden, accusing it of failures both on the international stage and in U.S. economy.

“You wouldn't have October 7 (the HAMAS attack on Israel – ed.). You wouldn't have Russia fighting with Ukraine. You wouldn't have had that disaster in Afghanistan. You wouldn't have had inflation. All these things would have not taken place,” Trump said, implying that these events could have been avoided under his presidency.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on Wednesday Vance said that negotiations with Moscow remain difficult because the Kremlin is asking too much in exchange for ending the war against Ukraine.
