China Opposes Ukraine's Accusations Of Assisting Russia In Manufacturing Military Goods

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has dismissed Ukraine's accusations regarding Chinese companies' involvement in the production of military goods for Russia, calling them 'unwarranted'.

This statement was made by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun, in response to the summoning of China's ambassador by Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, according to Ukrinform, citing Global Times .

"We have already made clear China's position on the relevant issues. China firmly opposes unwarranted accusations and political manipulation," the spokesperson said.

As reported by Ukrinform, on April 22, Chinese Ambassador Ma Shengkun was summoned to the Ukrainian MFA over allegations that Chinese nationals were involved in combat on Russia's side and that Chinese companies were producing weapons within Russian territory.

During the meeting, Deputy Foreign Minister Yevhen Perebyinis emphasized that evidence of Chinese citizens participating in the war against Ukraine, as well as Chinese companies being involved in military production in Russia, raises serious concerns and contradicts the spirit of partnership between Ukraine and China.
