SWISS Unveils Special Wanderlust Livery For First A350

Dhaka: Swiss International Air Lines has unveiled a special livery titled "Wanderlust" that celebrates the diversity and uniqueness of Switzerland. The livery has been designed by Frédéric Siegel and will be featured on the first Airbus A350-900 to be delivered in late summer of 2025.

Swiss International Air Lines, the national flag carrier of Switzerland, has unveiled a new special livery with an announcement on March 6, 2025. Swiss artist Frédéric Siegel, renowned for unique animations and illustrations, has designed this special livery, and the airline named it "SWISS Wanderlust" to reflect its inclination to travel, discover, and explore the world.

SWISS remarks the "Wanderlust" livery as "a playful, creative and story-packed homage to Switzerland." The livery features blending illustrations of famous landmarks, traditional arts, and sports events and narrates stories of the country's uniqueness and diversity of its people, places, and cultures in both traditional and modern fashion.

“This special livery is our flying declaration of our love for Switzerland,” said Heike Birlenbach, Chief Commercial Officer, Swiss International Air Lines.“It's a confirmation of how close we feel to our home country; and it's an invitation to everyone to discover and explore it in all its uniqueness in a playful and creative way. We're proud to present Switzerland in all its diversity all over the world in such a special way,” he added.

The "Wanderlust" livery will be painted on the first SWISS Airbus A350-900, and the Star Alliance member regards the A350 as "the world's first-ever flying art gallery." SWISS currently has 10 Airbus A350-900s on order, and delivery of the first unit is expected in late summer of this year.
