UPDATE: The Israeli military says it has been informed by the Red Cross that the sixth captive, Hisham al-Sayed, has been handed over to them, according to Al Jazeera.
Doha, Qatar: Hamas released three additional Israeli detainees from Gaza on Saturday as part of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement.
The detainees, identified as Eliya Cohen, Omer Wenkert, and Omer Shem Tov, were delivered to Red Cross officials at Nuseirat in central Gaza.
This release follows an earlier handover in which two detainees were transferred to the Red Cross in Rafah, southern Gaza.
According to Al Jazeera, Hisham al-Sayed, the sixth captive, will be handed over to Israeli authorities without a formal ceremony.
The six detainees are the final group to be released under the first phase of the ceasefire agreement, which involves the exchange of 602 Palestinians detained in Israeli prisons.
