Kuwait Amir Holds Official Talks With Uzbek Pres.

KUWAIT, Feb 17 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Monday at Bayan Palace President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and accompanying delegation on the occasion of his official visit to the country.
Official talks between the two sides were held with His Highness the Amir chairing the Kuwaiti side in the presence of His Highness the crown prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Al-Sabah, and top state officials.
The Uzbek side was headed by the President with Uzbekistan's government senior officials present.
Minister of Diwan Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Sabah affirmed that the talks revolved around developing bilateral ties across various avenues, expanding cooperation horizons and issues of common interest. (end)
