European Ministers say peace in Ukraine cannot happen without Europe

(MENAFN) On Saturday, European ministers at the Munich Security Conference pointed out that peace in Ukraine and the overall area cannot be accomplished unless Europe leads efforts, spreading caution regarding outer burdens that do not think about the continent's strategic preference.

Annalena Baerbock, the German Foreign Minister stated "There won’t be any lasting peace if it’s not a European-agreed peace," underlining Europe’s crucial position in forming safety as well as solidity in the area.

Baerbock continued to explain the on-going circumstances as "an existential moment," which "Europe has to stand up" and express union facing outer danger.

She also stated, "Our biggest enemy at the moment is Putin's Russia because he has declared war on our European peace and on our European democracy."

As stated by her, Russia’s war with Ukraine is not only threatening to one single nation but to the whole continent along with its associations.

She also explained "Putin has made it very clear… this is not only a war on Ukraine. This is most of all a war on NATO, on the Europeans, on the Americans, and on the free world."
