Muslim World League Condemns Attack On UNIFIL In Lebanon

JEDDAH, Feb 16 (KUNA) -- The Muslim World League (MWL) condemned on Sunday, the attack on the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) and the subversive practices that threaten Lebanon's security and safety.
In a press statement, the MWL expressed its full solidarity with Lebanon and its people, and with the measures taken by the Lebanese government and the national tasks carried out by the army in confronting everything that threatens Lebanon's security, stability and the safety of its people.
On Friday, the UNIFIL announced that one of its convoys was attacked on the road to Beirut International Airport, calling for an immediate investigation into the incident. (end)
