Old Metrash2 App To Be Discontinued: Ministry Of Interior

Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Interior announced that the old Metrash2 app will be discontinued starting March 1, 2025.

The Ministry urged users to download the new application from the App / Google Play store to continue accessing MOI e-services. It added that the new application will work on IOS version 13 and above and Android version 29 and above.

The Ministry launched the new version of the app with user-friendly design and new payment methods in December 2024. The new app allows users to access a wide-range of services, allows personal authorisation, request and reprint certificates, and more.

In its most recent update, it added new feature allowing registration of wife and children even if they dont have phone numbers linked to their Qatar ID cards.
