
Panama's Boquete Visitor Center Has Received More Than 15,000 Visitors

Above, the Boquete sign that was originally installed at the Visitor Center, has now been moved to the fairgrounds. On the second level of the Visitor Center, visitors can take a cultural and historical tour, where they will discover the coffee tradition that has marked Boquete's identity, as well as the history and culture of the Ngäbe Buglé people. In addition, the center has a strategic viewing point that offers panoramic views of the Caldera River, providing national and foreign tourists with an unforgettable visual experience as pictured below.

The center has been visited by a diverse public, made up of both locals and foreigners. International visitors include those from the United States, Canada, Germany, France, Russia, Poland, Brazil and Spain, reflecting the global interest in this unique destination. The renovated Visitor Centre represents a significant leap forward compared to its previous version, integrating technology, interaction spaces and a modern infrastructure that allows it to comfortably serve the growing flow of tourists. This has been crucial for visitors to get the information they need about routes, activities and places to explore at the destination. The center will soon be adding new options to further enrich the visitor experience. Among them there will be a cafeteria where the public will be able to enjoy the renowned coffee of the region. In addition, there will be a craft shop where tourists will have the opportunity to obtain unique local products. Educational workshops will be offered allowing visitors to learn about Boquete's biodiversity, culture and traditions, creating an even more interactive and educational experience.
