Eight More Ukrainian Children Returned From TOT
As reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine's Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, shared this news on Telegram .
All of the rescued children were separated from their families due to the war and occupation. Some of them lost their parents, while others are siblings who were displaced together.
"Parents and guardians of these minors reached out to the Ombudsman's Office, asking for assistance in bringing their children back home. Today, we have a successful outcome - our institution's staff and the children's relatives welcomed the children at home," Lubinets stated.
One of the cases involved a woman who had been illegally detained and sentenced by the Russian occupiers. She was finally able to see her two sons again after a long separation.
The return operation was carried out as part of Ukraine's "Bring Kids Back UA" initiative. Qatar played a key role in facilitating the process.
