(MENAFN- UkrinForm) On the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, Volodymyr Zelensky met with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

The President of Ukraine reported this on Telegram , according to Ukrinform.

"We discussed coordination with NATO member states to develop a joint position on ending the war and pressuring Russia toward a just and lasting peace. One of the key conditions for this should be reliable security guarantees for Ukraine," Zelensky stated.

He expressed gratitude for the unwavering support of Ukraine and for the meetings held in Brussels in the Ramstein format and NATO-Ukraine Council.

"We expect all decisions made to be implemented as soon as possible," the Ukrainian leader emphasized.

The Office of the President added that during the meeting, Zelensky and Rutte also discussed the defense needs of Ukrainian forces, particularly in artillery.
