Environment Ministry Records Violations In Desert Areas

Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, in cooperation with the Environmental Security Department of the Internal Security Forces (Lekhwiya), carried out inspection campaigns in desert areas across the country, to record and reduce environmental violations and enhance compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

The Wildlife Protection Department confirmed that it had issued a number of violations against those who violated environmental laws and regulations.

Ministry calls on visitors to wild areas and meadows to preserve them and report any violations via hotline 16066.
