Trump issues warning to ‘let hell break out’ in Gaza

(MENAFN) US President Donald trump has set an ultimatum for Hamas, demanding the release of all remaining Israeli hostages in Gaza by midday Saturday or face severe consequences. Trump warned that if Hamas does not comply, it will lead to “all hell breaking out.”

Hamas had previously threatened to stop releasing additional hostages, accusing Israel of violating the terms of the ceasefire by preventing displaced Palestinians from returning to northern Gaza, restricting aid deliveries, and delaying further negotiations. In response, Israel accused Hamas of breaching the agreement, which was intended to facilitate the release of hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners.

Trump emphasized that the future of the ceasefire is Israel’s decision, but he insisted that if all hostages are not returned by the deadline, he would cancel the deal and allow significant military action to occur. He also stated that Hamas would face consequences for their actions, although he did not specify the exact measures.

In addition to his ultimatum, Trump recently discussed plans for US control over Gaza, suggesting it could be redeveloped into a more prosperous region. He also threatened to withhold aid from Jordan and Egypt if they refused to take Palestinian refugees, a proposal that Hamas called "ethnic cleansing."
