Qatar, UNESCO Sign Agreement To Enhance Cultural, Educational Cooperation

Doha: The State of Qatar has signed an agreement with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), on the sidelines of the Doha Forum 2024.

The agreement was signed on the Qatari side by the Director of the International Organizations Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikha Hanouf bint Abdulrahman Al Thani, while on the UNESCO side it was signed by UNESCO's representative to the Gulf States and Yemen, and Director of its office in Doha Salah Khaled.

This agreement serves the common goals between the State of Qatar and UNESCO in many areas such as education, protection of cultural heritage, climate change, and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals 2030.
