(MENAFN- Kashmir Observer) Srinagar- Amid ongoing criticism over the proposed satellite townships in Kashmir, Nasir Aslam Wani, senior National Conference leader and Advisor to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Friday reassured the public that the townships would serve the local population.
Wani, while dismissing the allegations of demographic change by PDP, said that these townships will serve the people of Kashmir. He said there is no need to create a controversy.“We are still dealing with the repercussions of the PDP's past actions. If any satellite township is established, it will be for the local people. There is no need to make an issue out of it,” Wani said during a press conference at Nawa-e-Subh party headquarters.
