Kazakhstan's President Invites Mongolian Leader For State Visit


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) ASTANA, Kazakhstan, October 29. Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev extended an invitation to Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh for a state visit to Kazakhstan in 2025, Trend reports.

The announcement came during high-level talks held in an expanded format between the two leaders.

President Tokayev highlighted the strong interparliamentary and intergovernmental connections already in place between Kazakhstan and Mongolia, pointing to significant potential for further collaboration.

"We need to enhance our cooperation in trade, agriculture, transport and logistics, mining, industry, investments, new technologies, and space exploration," Tokayev said. "I am confident that the agreements signed today will provide a major boost to our political and economic relations". He emphasized the importance of both governments' timely and effective implementation of these agreements.

Mongolia's President Khurelsukh affirmed Mongolia's commitment to strengthening ties with Kazakhstan across a broad spectrum of mutual interests. He expressed optimism that the agreements reached during the talks would open a new chapter in bilateral relations, expanding cooperation and creating fresh opportunities for both countries.
