First Day Of Classes At Azerbaijan's Khankendi School (PHOTO)


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) KHANKENDI, Azerbaijan, September 23. The first day of classes has started at School No. 4 in Khankendi, Trend reports.

The opening ceremony involved Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, the Presidential Special Representative in Khankendi, Aghdam, and Khojali districts Elchin Yusubov, Acting Director of the Karabakh Regional Education Department Anar Majidov, as well as the school staff and students' parents.

Amrullayev emphasized that soon everyone will witness the success of the students at this school.

Other guests congratulated the school staff and wished them success.

Following the ceremony, familiarization with the school conditions took place.

Meanwhile, the overhaul of the full secondary school No. 4 for 624 pupils was started in May this year by order of the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan.

According to the project, the territory of the school is 0.67 ha, and the total area of the school building is 3,760 square meters.

The school has 11 classrooms, chemical, physical, and biological laboratories, technology and informatics rooms, two STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) rooms, a pre-conscription training room, a library, assembly, and sports halls, as well as a canteen.
