Azerbaijan Prioritizes Interaction With Somalia On Int'l Platforms - Official


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 26. Azerbaijan attaches special importance to interaction with Somalia on international platforms, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said, Trend reports.

He made the remark at a joint press conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia Ahmed Moalim Fiqi.

Bayramov noted that Azerbaijan and Somalia are actively exchanging views on opportunities and paths to expand cooperation in various spheres.

“We attach special importance to interaction with Somalia on international platforms. In particular, I would like to point out cooperation within the UN and its various institutions, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, as well as in the context of Azerbaijan's four-year chairmanship of the Non-Aligned Movement,” Bayramov stressed.
